STUDIO PROGRAMME SPRING TERM DATES 
SPRING TERM: Monday 4th January to Monday 4th April.
No Classes during 
HALF TERM: Monday 15

BANK HOLIDAY: Monday 28
th March.

LUDUS DANCE 40TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION  
Saturday 19 March. An evening of celebration, fun and dancing in Lancaster’s historic Storey building. Ticket required for entry – get yours for free by clicking here.


LANCASHIRE YOUTH DANCE FESTIVAL 
Two nights of dynamic and exciting dance with some of the most talented young artists from across the county and beyond at the Dukes Theatre in Lancaster. Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd April. Click here for tickets.

OUTREACH WORKSHOPS 

CENTRE FOR ADVANCED TRAINING, NORTHERN SCHOOL OF CONTEMPORARY DANCE 

Our schools and youth programme is designed to support, nurture and inspire high quality dance. As part of our 'Spotted' programme we offer free workshops to schools, colleges, youth and community settings across Yorkshire between October and March for students aged 13 - 17 years to search out talent for our Centre for Advanced Training. The workshops are an hour and a half to two hours in length and include a warm up, taught sequence and creative task.

  • 10am to 12.30pm - practical sessions, led by UCLan artists/lecturers
  • 12.30pm to 1.30pm lunch - buy/bring your own
  • 1.30pm to 4.30pm - DNNW Meeting - transition from Priority Setting to Programme Development (Travel / food bursary available)
  • Early evening - possible performance, tbc.

The network is governed by the Strategic Action Group, currently made up of the Bridge organisations Cape UK and Curious Minds, Dance City, Cheshire Dance, Ludus Dance, Northern School of Contemporary Dance, TIN Arts, The Lowry, Yorkshire Dance and 2 Independents working in the field of dance Pete Huggins (Gateway Studio, Gateshead) and Sarah Hall (Blackpool and Fylde Local Authority). The network is financially supported by the SAG and Arts Council England.
